About Our Pastor
Pastor Dr. Mable W. Fenner
Pastor Mable W. Fenner is the wife of Elder George E. Fenner, Jr. It was under his ministry at Powerhouse Christian Center where she was Tried, Trained, Prepared, and Chosen for a Such a Time as This.
Pastor Mable is the daughter of the late Charlie and Beachola Whitney. She is the proud mother of four children, Stephen, Tamara, George, and Joshua and beautiful grandchildren. She also loves and adores her children and grandchildren she was blessed to gain by marriage.

Pastor Mable attended and graduated from Southampton High School. She also graduated from P. D. Pruden Vocational Center in Suffolk, Virginia with her license in Cosmetology. As a hairstylist for over 35 years, Pastor Mable is the self-employed owner of Mable’s Hair Palace. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
Pastor Mable was introduced to holiness and salvation at the age of 14 when some ladies came around to start a choir at their church (Holy Ghost Temple COGIC, Ivor, VA, late Elder Raleigh Shoulders, pastor) in 1976. After graduating from high school and moving to the city (gone in the wrong direction), God had her back at home within eight months. Not knowing from birth God had his hands on her and had a calling on her life. God kept reminding her “if you love Me, keep My commandments”-John 14:15. Pastor Mable gave her life totally to God when she got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1982. The same year she joined Mission of Deliverance COGIC (late Elder Lee D. Chapman, pastor) and remained until marriage. This church is where she got her roots and foundation about holiness, sanctification, and godly living. As a youth and young adult, Pastor Mable humbly filled many capacities of the church such as teaching Sunday School.
Dr. Mable Fenner’s doctrinal beliefs are wholly founded upon her faith in the immutable truth of God’s Word.
After marriage, she heard God again say, “You did not choose me, but I have chosen you”– John15:16. She knew God was calling her to preach because she had been feeling it down on the inside, but was fearful. As a result, she told God, “YES!” In the 1990’s she yielded herself and preached her initial sermon.
Pastor Mable was able to take a few classes from C. H. Mason Bible College (church site at Mission of Deliverance). Later, the Lord blessed her to attend and graduate from the Door of Life Bible Institute, Franklin, VA (Scott’s Revival Center) with a certificate in Evangelism and Pastoral Counseling. She also graduated and received her Bachelor’s degree in Theology from International Bible College of Theology of Illinois (Suffolk, VA campus site).
Pastor Mable stands strong in faith; armed with the Word, the Blood, and the name of Jesus, yet yielding herself daily to the Lord. Pastor Mable has been allowing God to use her to tell the unadulterated, uncompromising Truth in love to this dying world that the captives can be set free, healed, and delivered from the power and the lies of Satan and walk in their victory.
We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.
